Day App

Shopping

Shopping that shows its working

Two kinds of shopping card: a list for the shop, and a product you're thinking of buying. Both say where the numbers came from.

A shopping list that adds up

Your assistant can write the list from tonight's recipe or the weekend plan. Day App groups it by aisle, shows quantities and units, and keeps a running estimate of what's left to buy. Tick things off as they go in the basket.

You can also make one yourself from Add → Shopping list: type one item per line, like "6 apples" or "2 kg potatoes".

A shopping list grouped into meat, veg, dairy and bakery, two items ticked, about £42 left

Products with real prices

Ask your assistant, or use Add → Find to buy. Day App searches eBay's official listings in your country and shows each one's price, delivery cost, condition and when the price was seen. Only sellers with at least 98% positive feedback and 100 ratings are shown.

  • Visit now opens the best listing straight from the card
  • Plan for a day puts the purchase on the day you mean to buy it
  • Refresh prices checks again; old prices are marked as old
  • Amazon appears as a clearly labelled search link, never as made-up prices
  • A price typed by an assistant and not checked by Day App says so on the card

How we make money from shopping

Some product links are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Vaitly Limited may earn a commission from Amazon or eBay. You pay the same price. Commission never changes which listings appear or their order, and every product card with such links says so. Products only appear when you or your assistant ask for them. Day App never adds products to your day by itself.
