What is Day App?
Day App is a phone app for iPhone and Android that shows a short, time-ordered plan for your day. The AI assistants you already talk to, such as Claude and ChatGPT, fill it in by adding cards: reminders, tasks, recipes, shopping lists, products to buy and short reads.
Which AI assistants work with Day App?
Claude and ChatGPT, through their connector features, and any other assistant that supports remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors with sign-in. The connector address is https://api.dayapp.co.uk/mcp.
Do I need an AI assistant to use it?
No. You can add notes, spoken notes, tasks, reminders and shopping lists yourself, and search for products to buy. An assistant just saves you the typing.
How much does Day App cost?
Day App is in private testing and is free for testers. We'll publish any price on this site before launch.
When can I download it?
It isn't on the App Store or Google Play yet. To join the test, email hello@dayapp.co.uk and say which phone you use.
Can an assistant change my day without asking?
A connection you trust can add, update, move and dismiss cards straight away, and every change shows who made it and why. It can never turn on a routine or repeat; those wait for you. If you'd rather approve every change, set that connection to "Always ask me first" under Me. You can disconnect any assistant at any time.
Will Day App send me lots of notifications?
No. It only notifies you about reminders set for a time you chose, and the optional morning and close-out prompts you turn on. There are no engagement notifications.
Where do product prices come from?
From eBay's official Browse API, with the price, delivery cost and the time the price was seen. Amazon appears as a labelled search link. A price an assistant typed itself is labelled as not checked by Day App.
How does Day App make money from shopping links?
Some product links are Amazon Associates or eBay Partner Network affiliate links, and Vaitly Limited may earn a commission if you buy. You pay the same price, and commission never changes which listings appear or their order.
What happens to my data?
Accounts and boards are stored with Google Firebase in London, and the service runs on a server in Germany. We don't sell data and don't use advertising tools. You can export everything or delete your account from the app. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Your phone keeps a copy of today's board, and reminders the phone has scheduled still go off without a connection.
